Majoy social changes are brought about by peoples' grassroots movements.This course tries to explore the history of social movements, their successes and failures, and the somewhat confusing states today.
■ 課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) The objectives are to understand 1)the deliberative nature of democracy, 2)the ways objections are handled by the power or the majority, and 3)differences of interests and perspectives among given population, and to collaboratively construct the history of social movements and how they are functioning in the world today.
